Ogonnelloe N.S took part in Division 3 Cumann na mBunscol competition during May and June. The boys hurling team were in a group with Parteen, Kilkishen/O’Callaghan’s Mills and Broadford. They topped their group to reach the semi-final where they played a hard fought game against Crusheen. They were narrowly beaten on the day.
It was a joy to watch the skills that were on show during the match.
Our girl’s Camogie Team were also in Division 3. They faced Barefield, Clonmoney and Kilmurry during the group stage. The games were very close and though they played really well, they did not progress to the semi-final stage.
