Harvest Time in the Garden

Third and Fourth Class were busy harvesting tomatoes, onions, butternut squash, quri squash potatoes and beetroot from the polytunnel this autumn.

The committee members shared some of the harvest with all classes and discussed when the produce was planted.

Children in the junior classes observed the signs of autumn in the garden during nature walks. They gathered leaves and used them to do leaf printing in art.
