Our whole-school focus for the current year is promoting well-being in our school community.
As part of this, we are very excited to announce that Ogonnelloe National School will work on the Pieta House Amber Flag programme this year.
The aim of the Pieta House Amber Flag programme is to create healthy, inclusive environments that support mental well-being. The initiative encourages giving and selflessness as part of positive mental health, so Pieta House will be our chosen charity focus for this school year.
All our pupil committee groups will collaborate on activities promoting Positive Mental Health. These are: Wellbeing, Active Schools and Green Schools and will work across all classes.
