Garden Club in Action

Spring is a busy time for our garden club members. Under the direction of Ms. Mc Kee, children from 4th, 5th and 6th class helped to get the raised beds and the polytunnel ready for growing season.

Their work is very much appreciated by all members of the school community.

They also helped out on Whole School Planting day. The following seeds have been planted.

Junior & Senior Infants: Tomatoes

First Class: Courgettes

Second Class: Cucumber and Squash

Third Class: Beetroot

Fourth Class: Sweetcorn

Fifth Class: Squash

Sixth Class Kale and Pepper
