Water Safety Workshop with Rosie O’Regan
On Tuesday, the 4th of November, children from Infants to Sixth Class took part in a Water Safety Workshop delivered by Rosie O’Regan from Water Safety Ireland.
During the session, the children learned essential life-saving guidelines that every child should know. They discussed important ways to stay safe at home, on the farm, and at the beach.
The workshop also included a hands-on practical session, where pupils learned how to use a lifebuoy correctly and discovered the importance of wearing a properly fitted lifejacket when on or near the water.
It was an engaging and valuable learning experience for all!
